Spring has arrived and it appears that we are in for another busy season this year with 200 animals already in care at the end of April.
In addition to our 30 permanent wildlife residents, we have orphaned wildlife babies and animals that have been in our rehabilitation centre since last year.
Many of our supporters may not be in the position to support our mission through monetary donations right now, and this we understand. However, you can still support our mission by sharing our posts with friends, spreading the word about coexisting with wildlife and being a good steward of wildlife in our community.
Rehabilitating wildlife is hard work and costs a lot of money. Thanks to your support, we have ordered $10,000 worth of species specific formula so that animals in our care are getting the best diet and nutrition to help them grow and ultimately return to the wild. This is only one example of the ways your support enables the realization of our mission to care for injured and orphaned wildlife and, once rehabilitated, return them to their natural environment.
Thank you for helping to give wildlife a second chance.
